CORONA GENERATOR
In a corona system, the corona generator and the high-voltage transformer produce the high voltage that is applied to the corona electrodes. Additionally, the generator controls the overall corona system. With our 9000 series of corona generators, SOFTAL has set new standards in the corona generator market across all power segments.
Linear Plasma
Linear Plasma technology generates a potential-free plasma discharge within the electrode housing. The plasma is then projected onto the material surface using compressed air or a specific process gas mixture.
As a result, this technology is not constrained by material thickness, enabling effective treatment of materials with virtually any thickness.
In conventional corona treatment of industrial foams and multi-wall sheets, undesired backside or internal cavity treatment can occur due to air inclusions or internal voids.
Linear Plasma technology completely eliminates this issue, providing a more precise and controllable surface treatment process.
